Who are we? What do we do? What do we believe?

In essence what is Hare Krishna?

Hare Krishna is short for the divine Hare Krishna Mantra:
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna Hare Hare,
Hare Rama Hare Rama, Rama Rama Hare Hare

We are all intrinsically joyful spiritual beings. But we are now trapped by identifying with our temporary material bodies. By meditating on the Hare Krishna mantra through chanting and singing we uncover our true eternal spiritual nature.

The Swami who started it all

How a 70 year old Swami leaves India to spread this message

We are not material,
we are spiritual beings

"For the soul there is neither birth nor death at any time. He has not come into being, does not come into being, and will not come into being. He is unborn, eternal, ever-existing and primeval. He is not slain when the body is slain."
